What you will do

• Defect identification and rectification of issues related to AC Systems,

• Overhauling of Semi-hermetic screw compressor of make Sabroe, Bitzer,

• Undertake Retrofit and Commissioning activities of AC Systems.

• Carry on Rate Contract of HVAC /AC Systems.

• Attending Breakdown Maintenance of HVAC/AC Systems on priority basis as required by the customers.

• Attending the HVAC/AC plants trouble shooting as per the customer call at different sites.

• Undertaking all the HVAC/AC plants activities which includes – Condenser cleaning, Chiller cleaning, Pressure testing, Vacuum testing etc., till readiness of plant for kick start and conducting trails with customer and get the work completion certificate.

How you will do it

• Read manuals/P&ID /drawings and carry out trouble shooting of AC & Refrigeration Systems.

• Understand control philosophy and undertake Retrofit

• Analyze data from onboard logbooks to identify the defect.

• Preparation of proper service reports after every visit and work completion on board ships.

•  Properly communicating and liaising with customer /subcontractors/office for getting the work completed on time. 

What we look for

• Diploma/BE (Mechanical) Engineer with 5 to 8 years’ hands-on experience in servicing

HVAC & AC Systems.

Required

• Hands-on experience in following:

Servicing of AC & Refrigeration Systems – Condenser cleaning, Chiller cleaning, Pressure testing, Vacuum testing etc.

Worked on Breakdown maintenance and Preventive maintenance of AC & Refrigeration plants

Should have knowledge on trouble shooting of AC & Refrigeration plants.

• Good Communication skills and able to write service reports after every site visit.

• Readiness to travel extensively across Indian ports at short notice.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Overhauling of Reciprocating compressor, Screw compressor, Semi-Hermetic Compressors etc.

• Working experience on Naval and Marine ships
