  • Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality.

HR Programs & Initiatives

  • Assist with the development, review and communication of HR policies, programs and resources.
  • Monitor employment legislation and HR best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support the employee experience and business needs.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education or a related field.
  • Minimum four years of recent, related HR experience, including recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Experience providing HR guidance to leaders, particularly in employee relations and performance management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management and attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with HR legislation, trends and best practices.
  • Ability to travel to PCU’s 10 branches across PEI, as needed.

Why You’ll Love It Here:
