Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple project sites throughout the UAE. You will be responsible for overseeing security systems implementation, including CCTV and access control systems, while ensuring all operations meet the highest safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience from the oil and gas, power, or utilities sector and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment across all multisite locations.

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and protocols across multiple project sites in the UAE
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses for security systems installations and operations
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and functionality of CCTV and access control security systems at various locations
• Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and international HSE standards
• Investigate safety incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions
• Prepare detailed HSE reports, documentation, and compliance records for all multisite operations
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems while maintaining safety protocols
• Provide HSE training and guidance to site personnel and contractors
• Analyze safety performance data and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Maintain current knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry best practices
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HSE engineering experience in oil and gas, power, or utilities sector
• Proven expertise in security systems, including CCTV and access control system knowledge
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard analysis techniques
• Demonstrated experience managing HSE compliance across multisite locations
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and local safety standards
• Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to analyze safety data and develop actionable recommendations
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and project teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver HSE training
• Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid HSE certification or equivalent professional qualification
• Familiarity with international HSE standards and best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a multisite, fast-paced environment
