About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our HR team. This role will provide hands-on exposure to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations, with approximately 60% of the role focused on recruitment and 40% on HR operations and documentation.
The ideal candidate should be organized, a good communicator, comfortable interacting with candidates, and eager to learn the end-to-end HR process.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 50% – Talent Acquisition
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, social media, and other channels.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate calls and basic screening.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and regularly update the candidate tracker/recruitment MIS.
- Follow up with candidates regarding interviews, offers, joining dates, and documentation.
- Assist with offer rollout and pre-joining coordination.
- Maintain a healthy candidate pipeline for current and upcoming requirements.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires.
- Assist in creating and posting job descriptions on relevant platforms.
🔹 50% – HR Operations and other projects
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with employee file management and documentation.
- Update HR trackers, MIS, and internal databases.
- Support joining and exit documentation.
- Maintain attendance, leave, and other HR-related records as required.
- Assist in preparing HR letters, forms, and other documents.
- Support employee onboarding documentation and induction activities.
- Ensure HR records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Assist the HR team with day-to-day administrative and operational activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and follow-up skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and basic MS Office tools.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle multiple recruitment requirements simultaneously.
- Prior internship/recruitment experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
