Overview
The HR Business Partner serves as a key onsite HR resource for our Tilton, New Hampshire Distribution Center, building trusted partnerships with associates and leaders at all levels to provide HR guidance and expertise that enables a positive and effective work environment. As part of the broader HR Business Partner team based in our Quincy, MA office, this role provides hands-on HR partnership in Tilton across employee relations, performance management, onboarding, engagement, communications, and broader HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provides advice and counsel on performance management and policy interpretation for the Tilton Facility, including the Distribution Center, Contact Center and Accounting.
- Manages onboarding activities to ensure that new associates are provided with the knowledge and resources to quickly acclimate and begin contributing.
- Partners with Distribution Center leadership to understand staffing demands and supports onsite needs for recruitment events and interviews.
- Conducts ad-hoc organizational analyses, compiles and analyzes employee relations metrics and other HR analytics for management review and decision making.
- Manages recognition programs, events and engagement activities.
- Performs confidential administrative functions.
- Tracks organizational changes and maintains organizational charts.
- Develops and updates HR policies and procedures.
- Develops employee communications and manages information flow.
- Manages unemployment claims processing for the Tilton Facility.
- Manages special projects as needed.

Qualifications
- Must have an approachable and engaging style and strong listening skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing projects and demands.
- Ability to work independently, plan effectively and produce results.
- Advanced ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven abilities in the areas of associate relations and HR program development and management.
- Great Learner, poised, analytical, tenacious, flexible, and adaptable.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 4+ years of Human Resource experience, preferably in a Distribution or Customer Contact Center
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work, prolonged periods of time working at a desk and on a computer.
- Ability to communicate information and observe details at close range.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required
