Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead and oversee all cleaning and sanitation operations within our hospitality environment. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that cleanliness standards are consistently met, safety regulations are adhered to, and guest or client satisfaction remains high. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning and sanitation tasks across all areas
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols
- Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff productivity to meet operational standards
- Implement and maintain cleaning & sanitation management procedures aligned with health regulations and industry best practices
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and quality standards are upheld
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead staff and liaise with other departments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and janitorial best practices
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and maintaining high service standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
