Job Description

• Lead daily briefings with housekeeping staff to communicate priorities, expectations, and performance goals while providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback
• Ensure guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and all public areas are maintained according to established standards and procedures
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of lobbies, hallways, common spaces, and respond promptly to guest requests and damage reports
• Conduct regular room inspections and quality control checklists to verify compliance with standards
• Maintain accurate documentation including section floor reports, room status, and occupancy information in the designated system
• Manage housekeeping equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate inventory levels and supply ordering to optimize resource utilization
• Implement and promote health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all housekeeping operations
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth while assessing attendance, punctuality, and performance
• Report any unusual behavior or activities on floors to the Executive Housekeeper or management
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication and mutual support

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional guest and staff interaction
• Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Experience with inventory management and cost control awareness
• Physical stamina and ability to perform regular floor inspections
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to guest satisfaction
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment with flexible scheduling availability
