About this role
Overview
New London Hospital is seeking a permanent full time (0.8 FTE) advanced practice provider (APRN or PA) with prior hospital medicine or critical care medicine background to join our Hospital Medicine Team. This is primarily a daytime position, but with occasional night coverage. Primary responsibilities include independently rounding on acute/swing/custodial patients, performing ED admissions, and responding to medical emergencies. The candidate will join a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who focus on delivering exceptional inpatient care. New London Hospital does have a Special Care Unit (SCU) which serves as a step-down unit, but performing procedures or ventilation management is not required. Providers must maintain ACLS credentialing.

New London Hospital is a critical access hospital located in New London, New Hampshire and a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System. New London Hospital features 25 inpatient medical-surgical beds which includes 4 SCU beds. Specialty services include general surgery and orthopedics. Being part of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Health System provides our clinicians with access to resources to safely care for patients.

National Certification from an approved certifying body - Eligible for an APRN or PA-C license in the State of New Hampshire - Eligible for Federal DEA registration - Additional certifications must be maintained in accordance with applicable departmental requirements
