The Comtran Group, Inc. is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Entry level to Experienced). This position reports to the Fleet Manager and will repair various types of vehicles and equipment. What You'll Do
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and service work
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components,
- Maintain equipment and fleet vehicles to maximize uptime and safety
- Complete work orders and maintain records
- Work in the shop and occasionally in the field

What You'll Bring
Entry-Level Candidates
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Must have basic hand tools
- Trade school graduates encouraged to apply
- Valid Driver's License
Experience Mechanics
- 2+ years of heavy equipment, diesel, agricultural, or fleet maintenance experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
- CDL a plus but not required
