Pay: $36 – $42/hour, based on experience · Overtime after 40 hours · Additional compensation for on-call Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (role is subject to on-call scheduling) Location: Williston, ND — rental facility

As a Field Technician at EquipmentShare, you'll diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on heavy equipment and aerial lifts — with our proprietary T3 platform pulling service data from hundreds of makes and models so you can find root cause fast and work smarter, not harder.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned equipment, exercising independent judgment
  • Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance; maintain your service vehicle in clean, professional condition
  • Use T3 on a laptop or tablet to create and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and order parts
  • Document all work performed accurately and daily
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Support the training and development of junior technicians
  • Follow safe work practices on every job

What You Need

  • Your own tools applicable to the position
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
  • Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate company vehicles

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience servicing heavy equipment, aerial lifts, or diesel systems
  • Trade school certificate or OEM certifications
  • Advanced experience with hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely, and lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Field Technicians may be required to be clean shaven to enter worksites for customers with that requirement
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; any offer of employment is contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
  • Employment is contingent on passing a background check
