Position Overview Sophisticated Hearing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities Perform hearing aid consultations, fittings, verification, and follow-up care in alignment with best practices. Conduct hearing screenings and basic audiometric testing within the state licensure scope. Provide tinnitus education and basic management support under audiologist supervision. Fit and manage Lyric extended-wear devices (training and certification provided). Educate patients and families on hearing aid use, maintenance, and realistic expectations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality. Contribute to the ongoing success of the practice by fostering trust and long-term patient relationships. Qualifications Active New Jersey Hearing Instrument Specialist License Proven experience with hearing aid fittings, verification, and patient counseling.
