Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall commerce strategy, business growth, and P&L, with accountability for revenue, profitability, and business performance.
- Lead category and marketplace growth across e-commerce and D2C channels.
- Identify new opportunities to expand revenue, customer acquisition, market share, and category penetration.
- Develop and execute growth strategies across digital commerce, marketplaces, and direct-to-consumer channels.
- Manage pricing, assortment, merchandising, promotions, and other key commercial levers.
- Work closely with marketing teams to drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Monitor business metrics and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Build scalable processes and operating mechanisms to support rapid business growth.
- Lead cross-functional teams across category, growth, marketing, operations, and other business functions.
- Use data, consumer insights, and market trends to drive strategic and commercial decisions.
- Identify opportunities to launch, build, and scale new categories, products, or commerce initiatives.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Category Management, E-commerce, D2C Growth, Marketplace Business, Consumer Technology, P&L Ownership, Growth, or Marketing.
- Demonstrated experience managing a business with ₹10 Cr+ monthly revenue/P&L ownership, or having built and scaled a business/category from scratch to ₹50 Cr+ monthly revenue.
- Strong experience in D2C brands, digital/lifestyle commerce, consumer technology, or marketplace businesses.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth consumer businesses with significant ownership and accountability.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven leader who combines e-commerce expertise, D2C growth, category management, P&L ownership, and marketplace experience. You should be comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of a commerce business, identifying growth opportunities, and building scalable strategies that drive both revenue and profitability.
