Head of Business Development - Middle East

EnerMech is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Head of Business Development – Middle East to lead regional business development, drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen strategic customer relationships across the region.

The role will be responsible for developing and executing the Middle East business development strategy across EnerMech’s three business lines – Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions, Energy Solutions, and Lifting Solutions – identifying new markets and opportunities, growing existing customer accounts, and increasing adoption of EnerMech’s wider service portfolio across the region.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating new revenue, developing strategic accounts, building strong customer relationships, and converting complex opportunities into profitable business. They will provide regional leadership across business development activities and work closely with operations, technical, commercial, and business unit leadership to deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Middle East business development strategy across Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions, Energy Solutions, and Lifting Solutions.
• Drive revenue growth, market expansion, new customer acquisition, and increased share of existing customer spend.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across priority markets and sectors.
• Lead strategic account development, building senior-level customer relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities across all three business lines.
• Maintain a strong regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, CRM management, and opportunity progression.
• Lead major commercial opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
• Develop market intelligence and monitor customer, competitor, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.
• Work closely with technical, operational, commercial, and business unit teams to develop differentiated customer solutions.
• Represent EnerMech with key customers, industry bodies, conferences, and strategic market forums.
• Provide leadership and direction to the regional business development function, promoting collaboration and consistent commercial practices.
• Support strategic partnerships, frameworks, market-entry initiatives, and other opportunities that support long-term regional growth.
• Report on pipeline, revenue opportunities, strategic accounts, and market development to regional leadership.
