Job Details:

Pay rate: $22.85/Hour

• Perform various positions as required/assigned

  This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

  Applicants will be considered for any live hang opening. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing pulling and reaching are required. These positions work in a dusty, hot, and humid to cold and damp environment on slippery surfaces. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40 lbs. Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching and pulling. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.

  Must abide by animal welfare policies and be able to work around live birds in a safe and respectful manner.  Applicants who have worked for Tyson two times will not be considered. Applicants who have worked for Tyson two times will not be considered. Your application is only active for the current month in which you applied.  You will need to reapply next month to have an active application and be considered for employment.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously. 

Willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.  

Must be in good physical condition and have good hand dexterity for constant reaching, pushing & pulling motions.

This facility accepts rehires after 180 days. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
