Melbourne Skydeck is the Southern Hemisphere’s highest observation deck, located in Southbank high above the Melbourne skyline. We offer sightseeing at its finest, with spectacular floor-to-ceiling 360-degree views of Melbourne – breathtaking by day, stunningly lit by night – it’s a tourists dream and a family favourite!
Melbourne Skydeck includes the largest Virtual Reality (VR) Theatre of its kind in the world, and is home to a world first, The Edge – this glass cube projects from the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower and suspends visitors almost 300 metres high above Melbourne!

About the Role
You’ll be part of the team bringing one of Melbourne’s top tourist attractions to life. You’ll welcome guests, answer questions and deliver standout service from arrival to departure.
- Deliver warm, engaging and personalised guest service
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process payments
- Promote packages and experiences through confident, genuine upselling
- Operate attraction experiences, including the Edge thrill ride & VR Theatre
- Support daily venue set-up, pack-down, presentation and safety
About You
You’re bubbly, approachable and known for turning good service into an unforgettable experience. You’re a natural people person with amazing guest service experience, positive energy, and a genuine desire to go above and beyond. You’re:

Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in guest service, hospitality, events, tourism or attractions
- RSA (preferred)
- Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Knowledge of Melbourne and its surrounds is an advantage
- Ability to spend extended periods standing and undertake light lifting
