The Opportunity: 

As an Account Team Lead, your key objective will be to grow the coverage and quality of Agoda’s accommodation partner network. You will manage a team that takes care of a large portfolio of emerging accommodation partners and assist in functions at scale. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering a high-performance, results-driven, and supportive culture while guiding them to engage accommodation partners effectively, secure promotions, identify growth opportunities, respond to partner needs, and achieve team targets 
  • Leverage AI and data-driven thinking to enhance team management, improve operational velocity, and generate new ideas that increase execution speed and overall effectiveness. Proactively challenge the status quo, introducing smarter and more efficient ways of working to improve team performance and impact.
  • Contribute to shaping the Growth Team’s plans, strategy, and direction, ensuring alignment with regional and country growth targets while remaining agile and able to dynamically pivot strategies to support broader regional priorities and goals.  
  • Provide constructive feedback – Coach, mentor, motivate and evaluate the performance of the team on a regular basis and support professional development.  
  • Identify performance gaps, formulate action plans to address identified gaps, implement and monitor action plans to ensure success
  • Cultivate an environment where team members are empowered and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and belonging
  • Manage project sprints and ensure appropriate processes, plan and execution is delivered
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align strategic priorities, address operational challenges, optimize execution, and support sustainable growth in line with shared business objectives.
  • Oversee the prioritization of team daily tasks, monitor results and track progress in internal systems.   
  • Report on team activities, pitch pipelines, and results to senior management.
  • Demonstrate call center and/or telesales leadership experience, with a deep understanding of high-volume sales operations, effective outreach techniques, and customer engagement best practices. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from top university
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in operational or execution role
  • Understands, demonstrates and can coach/train others on BD (business development)/AM (account management) skills
  • Experience in account management, sales, or business development, with at least a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of coaching and developing high performing teams
  • Analytical and proven track record in using data and AI to drive teams and make decisions and has intellectual curiosity 
  • Results-driven and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize effectively, drive strong execution, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, competitive, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence and a proven ability to build trusted relationships and effective cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent language proficiency in English.
