Graphic & Brand Designer (Full-Time, In-Person)

The Graphic & Brand Designer should possess a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and visual communication and have the ability to translate ideas into effective print and digital design. In this role, the designer will collaborate with the branding team to create and maintain marketing materials, print collateral, digital assets, presentations, website content, and other visual communications that support Fortis’s brand and business objectives.


The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with strategic thinking, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset. They understand that design is more than creating assets—it is a tool for communicating ideas, building trust, and creating a consistent brand experience. They are able to understand business objectives, consider audience needs, and make thoughtful recommendations that strengthen the effectiveness and consistency of their work.


The Graphic and Brand Designer will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the branding team to execute creative initiatives, maintain consistency across brand touchpoints, and support ongoing marketing and branding campaigns and projects. They will contribute design recommendations, manage assigned creative projects from concept through completion, and help ensure all visual materials align with Fortis’s brand standards and commitment to exceptional service.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain digital and print assets that support the Fortis brand and enhance the client experience.
  • Collaborate with the branding team and internal stakeholders to translate ideas, goals, and project requirements into effective visual communications.
  • Manage assigned creative projects from concept through completion, ensuring deliverables align with brand standards, project objectives, and timelines.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the Fortis brand through thoughtful design, attention to detail, and recommendations that strengthen the client experience.
  • Provide recommendations regarding design, layout, branding, and print production specifications for assigned projects.
  • Partner with teams across Fortis to transform ideas, information, and service offerings into clear, engaging, and on-brand visual experiences.
  • Apply strong design principles and attention to detail to ensure every client-facing and internal asset reflects the quality, consistency, and professionalism of the Fortis brand.



Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of branding, visual communication, and design principles.
  • Experience creating premium digital and print materials, including knowledge of print production, paper stocks, finishes, file preparation, and production specifications.
  • Proficiency in professional design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience with WordPress and familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, PandaDoc, Mailchimp, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar business software.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound design judgment, and the ability to apply brand standards consistently across a variety of formats and touchpoints.
  • Desire and ability to continue learning, growing, and refining both creative and technical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in graphic design or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional design experience preferred; agency, in-house marketing, hospitality, luxury, or client experience-focused environments are a plus.
