About this role
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, and drafting documents.
- Assist in the development of project plans, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
- Collect, review, and research utility data and existing records.
- Support design, production, and general project coordination tasks.
- Assist in the design of site development plans, including site layout, grading, and utility systems.
- Present site plans to permitting agencies and reviewers to obtain review and approval.
- Review and annotate PDF drawings using scaled dimensions and area takeoffs in Bluebeam Revu.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of construction documents with reviewing agencies to obtain permits and address special requests.
Qualifications
- EIT required upon employment or within the first 6 months from start
- 0-3 years of industry experience
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and MicroStation is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client-service attitude with ability to multi-task and accomplish multiple priorities
