Role and Responsibilities

As a GPU Software Program Manager, you will drive program management execution for Samsung's GPU software development programs — spanning pre-silicon development, post-silicon performance, platform maintenance, and next-generation graphics and compute. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you'll partner with GPU software leaders, hardware, architecture, validation, platform engineering, and ecosystem partners to improve execution visibility, manage dependencies, and support delivery across software architecture, performance, compiler, system software, graphics drivers, compute, advanced rendering, tools, validation, and QA.

  • Drive schedule planning, milestone tracking, resource planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery alignment across multiple GPU software domains.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across software architecture, compilers, drivers, compute, rendering, tools, validation, and QA teams; manage concurrent programs and ensure alignment to project plans and milestones.
  • Own program health reporting to leadership by tracking progress, risks, blockers, and mitigation plans via Jira/Confluence dashboards across pre-silicon, post-silicon, and sustaining programs.
  • Partner with hardware, validation, platform engineering, global teams, and Android ecosystem partners to align software readiness with development milestones, technical priorities, and ecosystem requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement of PM processes, metrics, and execution frameworks to improve visibility, predictability, and operational efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 11+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or 9+ years with a Master’s Degree, or 7+ years with a Ph.D
  • 7+ years in system software technical program or project management for GPU/Graphics, CPU, multimedia, or embedded software
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles: architecture, development, validation, QA, release, performance, and maintenance
  • Managed programs across graphics drivers, compilers, system software, compute, developer tools, performance, validation, or platform engineering
  • Proven ability to drive schedule, resource, dependency, and risk management; skilled at cross-functional issue resolution and communicating status to technical and executive stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, defect tracking, schedule/resource management tools, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Well versed in Waterfall and Agile methodologies, source control (Git, Perforce), and engineering development workflows
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; able to engage senior leadership and drive alignment through ambiguity in a fast-paced global environment
