Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a General Laborer to support our Cleveland operations. The incumbent will be responsible for the general sorting of metals of the premises.
What you're responsible for:
- Receiving, sort and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals of different alloys i.e. aluminum, copper and brass
- Operating a 30lb cut off saw and baler
- Cleaning and shearing of radiators other general labor duties
- Working with a safety-oriented mindset
Qualifications
To join our team:
- Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools
- Superb Customer Service
- Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to consistently lift or move up to 100lbs
- Must be able to stand, reach, walk stoop and crawl
- Ability to work as a team
- Familar with OSHA regulations
- Excellent attendance and safety record.
