Location: Ulverston

Salary: £12.80 per hour

Due to the security of this location, you must be able to obtain National Security Clearance.

You are also required to hold a full UK Drving License (min 3 years experience), as driving company vehicles will be required.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant with a background in quality food catering services to join our business and work at a new location due to open in January 2027.

Job Description

As a General Assistant you will…

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch & hospitality services across the site
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house and kitchen areas
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers
• Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within a customer facing catering environment
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
• Fun and enthusiastic
• Have excellent organization skills.
• Demonstrate great attention to detail.
• Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
• Possess great customer service skills.
• Have a flexible approach to work
