Job Description

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31, 2026
Work Set Up: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in office / remaining days remote)
Clearance Required: BPSS eligibility required

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Fullstack Camunda Developer to develop Lending Origination workflows using Camunda 8 for process orchestration. The role will focus on Java-based backend development, React-based user interfaces, SQL, cloud technologies, DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, and microservices within a banking environment.

What you will do:

• Develop Lending Origination workflows using Camunda 8 for process orchestration.
• Implement service-task-driven integrations using Java-based job workers.
• Build and integrate React-based user interfaces for user task interactions.
• Develop supporting services using Java and SQL-based backend systems.
• Translate business requirements into clean, scalable, and testable code.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and maintain timely updates in JIRA.
• Deliver features and user stories with 100% automated test coverage requirements.
• Provide third-line support for production environments and first-line support for UAT.
• Apply Test Driven Development, CI/CD, and microservices practices throughout delivery.
• Meet CIB Metric standards, including TADS, and maintain required standards.

Qualifications

• Bring 10 years of experience designing and implementing Camunda solutions.
• Demonstrate strong Java and Spring Boot development experience, including JPA, Hibernate, JUnit, RestAssured, and Mockito.
• Demonstrate React JS, Redux, Axios, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML experience.
• Bring experience with SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Demonstrate experience with aPaaS OpenShift V4.
• Bring hands-on experience with GitLab, Stash, Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube, and Veracode.
• Demonstrate experience with Maven, Gradle, and NPM build tools.
• Demonstrate strong Test Driven Development, CI/CD, and microservices experience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Computer Science, Object-Oriented Design, and Data Structures, supported by a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Bring experience working within IT project environments, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Demonstrate experience working in Agile environments.
• Bring experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ as an advantage.
