Why This Role Is Different

Most engineers spend their careers on a single product, working through someone else's backlog. At Techdome, you'll build across four live, revenue-generating products: an AI-driven hiring platform, a healthcare management portal, a stock trading and investment app, and fintech payments infrastructure. We're a lean team, so there's no layer of process between you and the people using what you build.

You'll work side by side with Product and Design, take ownership of your features from first idea to production, and gain experience in domains that many engineers spend years trying to get into.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking features from concept to launch: scoping, system design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing iteration.
  • Building fast, responsive user interfaces with React.js, and secure, scalable services with Node.js and Express.js.
  • Designing REST APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations, with authentication and authorization done right (JWT, OAuth 2.0, RBAC).
  • Working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL for data modeling and querying, and using Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend.
  • Moving across all four product lines, covering payment flows, healthcare workflows, trading features, and AI-powered recruitment tools, rather than being confined to one area.
  • Contributing to architecture discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, and releases.
  • Diagnosing production issues, tuning performance, and supporting your features after they ship.
  • Making AI-assisted development (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) part of your everyday workflow, not an occasional experiment.

What You Should Have

  • 1.5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or Product Engineer.
  • Strong skills in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Working knowledge of Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • A solid understanding of REST API design, Git workflows, Agile/SDLC practices, and secure coding.
  • Practical experience in debugging, deployments, and production support.

Nice to Have

  • Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
  • Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ for caching, queuing, or real-time data.
  • Strong system design skills and a history of performance optimization.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and application security awareness.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, LangChain, AI agents, prompt engineering, MCP servers, or vector databases.
