Svix is a fast-growing startup building the future of server-to-server communication, starting with webhooks. We build high-quality, scalable, and fast infrastructure trusted by companies like Etsy, TaskRabbit, Brex, and the Fortune 500.

We have a top 1% product & team, our customers love us, and we are working towards building a generation defining developer infrastructure company. We also wrote the spec for webhooks (Standard Webhooks) which has since been adopted by Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, and many others.

About the role

Hey, I'm Tom, the founder and CEO of Svix.

I'm looking for someone smart and ambitious that wants to operate like a founder at a company that provides critical infrastructure to fast growing startups and the Fortune 500 (Etsy, TaskRabbit, Brex, Benchling, Vanta, Drata, and more).

You'll get to learn and have high impact on every aspect of the business, be part of the decision making process, and experience the best training ground to becoming a founder or a strong leader.

To be successful, you'd need to be able to think strategically, manage projects, and be a strong executor. You'd also need to be smart, hard working, and excited about B2B and/or devtools.

More on the role

The mission of the role is to be thought partner, help with strategy, own the highest-leverage work across the business, and make sure the important things actually happen.

Similar to the CEO, you'll be touching every area of the business depending on what's needed, for example: strategy and GTM, a hiring push, goal setting & planning, a pricing project, internal processes & automation, compliance, and much more. You'll often own undefined problems end-to-end, and be expected to automate them or hand them off.

This role is a good fit for ex-founders, consultants, investment bankers, and other strong operational people. You'd need to have worked in some B2B business environment, or be able to demonstrate why you're exceptional and we should skip this requirement.
