Job Description

Provide friendly and efficient food and beverage service, across our signature restaurant, Lombardi - including breakfast to dinner service, conference and events banqueting, and room service delivery.

Lombardi Restaurant, one of Queenstown’s most iconic dining destinations. With breathtaking views across Lake Wakatipu to The Remarkables, this is an opportunity to showcase your warmth, enthusiasm, and flair for service while delivering exceptional experiences to every guest.

As part of our team, you will:

• Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service across the restaurant, bar, and room service
• Share your knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails to elevate guest experiences and maximise sales opportunities
• Ensure every order and interaction reflects genuine hospitality and attention to detail
• Provide quality barista service and occasional support behind our bar
• Take pride in maintaining a polished, welcoming environment for our guests

Qualifications

You will harness your luxury attitude, with humble excellence, a distinguished presence, and elevated emotional intelligence. Your pride and passion will be complemented by:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a luxury hotel, fine-dining establishment.
• Barista or specialty coffee highly regarded.
• Knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, can-do attitude, with a flair for sales
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
