Job Purpose
To plan maintenance activities and to monitor the same so as to ensure 100% machine availability, optimum production and delivery within targeted time, cost, quality and quantity. To carryout developmental projects and maintain safety standards.

Job Context:
The plant in Nagda is more than 50 years old. The plant has a mix of vintage and latest machinery which makes it difficult to manage the plant. New plants with superior technology are coming up in the market which pose a major challenge for the growth of the plant. Thus, there is need to improve technology & satisfy the customers with products at competitive price consistently.
Major Challenges:
• Involvement & decision making for resolving critical issues related with trouble shooting of Energy Centre’s Critical Equipment like AHP, ESP & Compressor, steam networking, Ash plant, oil station etc.
• Technical inputs to material management department for vender selection, Material selection, planning, scheduling & implementation of planned maintenance activities for increasing & availability, availability of manpower at time.
• To implement capex & perform emergency maintenance activity of the respective section within time period.

To Plan, develop, implement and monitor routine and non-routine plant maintenance development projects in Energy Centers so as to ensure Steam & Power Supply to SFD & Chemical Division to optimize and achieve their production within targeted cost and quality parameter. 2. Plan & coordinate Maintenance activities to achieve targets. 3. Allocation of resources as per priority jobs. 4. Verification for smooth operation of existing system. 5. Review customer complaints and take relevant corrective actions\ 6. Anticipate & eliminate problems from grass root which can otherwise hamper continuous running of Energy Centre. 7. Maintenance time to be minimized by incorporating new tools and ensuring maintenance practices are adhered. 8. Maintain the static equipment in healthy & available condition. |
