The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instruments in hospital laboratory environments.

This position reports to the Quebec District Service Manager and is part of the Service department located in Chicoutimi/Jonquière area and will be entirely remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Serving assigned customers, under minimal supervision, you will be required to complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated instrumentation.
• Complete on time and accurately: preventative maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs and work order/service documentation.
• Occasionally available to travel across Canada , to support the various sites where our instrumentation is used.

Essential job requirements include:

• Technical degree in biomedical, laboratory, electronics or related field with a minimum of 1 years of experience troubleshooting, installing, performing maintenance on laboratory equipment at customer sites OR 1 years of mechanical or electrical experience
• Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written

Travel, motor vehicle history, and physical and environmental requirements:

• Ability to travel to the United States of America for training.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs.  Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.

It would be a plus if you also have previous experience in:

• Field Service experience
• Technical service for instruments in the following categories: Hematology, and chemistry.

Le représentant du service sur le terrain (FSR) est responsable de fournir un service client exceptionnel aux clients tout en installant et en maintenant des instruments de diagnostic dans les environnements de laboratoire hospitaliers.

Ce poste relève du directeur de service du district du Québec et fait partie du département de service situé à Chicoutimi/Jonquière ou la région et sera entièrement à distance.

Dans ce rôle, vous aurez l’opportunité de :

• Servir des clients assignés, sous une supervision minimale, vous devrez compléter les besoins de dépannage, d'installation, de validation, de maintenance et de réparation de services sur l'instrumentation désignée.
• Compléter à temps et précisément: maintenance préventive, modifications sur le terrain, réparations d'instruments et documentation des ordres de travail / service.
• Disponible à l’occasion pour voyager à travers le Canada, pour soutenir les différents sites où notre instrumentation est utilisée.

Les exigences essentielles du poste comprennent :

• Diplôme technique en biomédical, laboratoire, en électronique ou dans un domaine connexe avec un minimum de 1 an d'expérience en dépannage, en installation et en entretien d'équipements de laboratoire sur les sites de client OU 1 an d'expérience avec des instruments mécanique ou électronique.
• Bilinguisme en français et en anglais, parlé et écrit.

Exigences relatives aux déplacements, aux antécédents de véhicules à moteur et aux conditions physiques et environnementales :

• Capacité de voyager aux États-Unis pour la formation.
• Capacité à soulever, déplacer, faire glisser, lever et/ou placer régulièrement jusqu'à 50 lb. Capacité à se tenir debout, marcher (de manière prolongée) et s'asseoir ; s'accroupir et s'agenouiller, monter et descendre des escaliers ; tendre les mains et les bras.

Ce serait un plus si vous possédiez également une expérience préalable dans :

• Expérience en service sur le terrain
• Le service technique des instruments de catégorie suivantes : Hématologie, Biochimie.

La fourchette salariale annuelle pour ce poste est de 75 000 $ à 85 000 $ CAD. C'est la fourchette que nous croyons de bonne foi être la fourchette de compensation possible pour ce poste au moment de cette publication. Cette fourchette peut être modifiée à l'avenir.
