Job Description

Timberlea Medical Centre, part of Ravines Medical Group, is a collaborative primary care clinic located in Timberlea. The clinic is home to a multidisciplinary team including four family physicians, two family practice nurses, and a nurse practitioner, with additional prenatal services offered onsite.

The team operates in a highly collaborative environment, with regular physician–NP case discussions and monthly operational meetings led by the Director of Clinical Operations. Providers are supported through shared learning opportunities such as group CME participation, and vacation coverage is coordinated centrally with locum support.

The clinic is well-equipped for minor procedures, with a dedicated procedure room, full sterilization setup, and access to additional equipment as needed. Internal referral pathways exist across Ravines clinics in the Central Zone, supporting a broad scope of services. With an established patient panel and the opportunity to grow based on physician interest and FTE, Timberlea Medical Centre offers a flexible and supportive environment for family physicians.

Timberlea Medical Centre is seeking a family physician to join its established and collaborative team. The incoming physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to a rostered patient population, with the opportunity to build and expand their panel.

The role includes participation in a team-based care model, working closely with physicians, a nurse practitioner, and nursing staff to support patient care. Physicians have access to a dedicated procedure room for minor in-office procedures, as well as internal referral options within the Ravines network for specialized services.

Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no required call schedule. There is flexibility for physicians who wish to offer extended hours or additional services. The clinic uses TELUS Med Access as its electronic medical record system.

This opportunity is well-suited for a physician seeking a flexible practice model, with options for full-time or near full-time (0.8 FTE or greater) engagement in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
