Reporting to: Plant Operations Manager
On-Site/Hybrid/Remote: On-site
Travel Required: 0-5%
The Terex Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and continuous improvement of facility and maintenance operations. This role ensures that buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and site services are safe, compliant, fully operational, and maintained to support business objectives. The Facilities Manager oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs, develops maintenance schedules and procedures, manages facility improvement projects, and coordinates contractors, vendors, and internal resources. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing team capabilities, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and performs all inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair activities in compliance with standard maintenance procedures, operating manuals, manufacturers specifications, drawings and diagrams, and federal, state, and local codes and regulations
- Coordinates and performs regular inspections of equipment and machinery according to operating manuals and standard maintenance procedures to assure operating efficiency and identify potential problem areas. Documents inspection activities and establish schedules for review of potential problems.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in all phases of the plant operation, including work direction or guidance, budgeting, appraisals, etc.
- Establish short- and long-term schedules, coordinates, assigns, and inspect regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery, processing equipment and facilities systems
- Participates with Team Leaders in the review an analysis of proposed machinery, equipment, and facilities systems. Analyzes operating characteristics, reliability, and cost-of-maintenance
- Inspects work-in-progress and completed assignments Manage facilities budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and capital expenditure planning to support operational growth.
- Direct facility construction, renovation, infrastructure improvement projects, including contractor and regulatory authority coordination.
- Oversee fleet, forklift, material handling assets, workplace services, ergonomics, office moves, and overall site infrastructure including roads, parking lots, and grounds.
- Assesses compliance with maintenance and safety standards
- Train others and personally diagnoses problems affecting acceptable operation of process equipment, machinery, tools and facility equipment
- Develop maintenance policies and standards for operations plant
- Responsible for handling emergency situations or after-hours calls for repair and maintenance
- Manage vendor relationships, including but not limited to grounds maintenance and janitorial services

- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 3 years of maintenance experience
· Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of experience leading facilities maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or industrial operations teams.
· Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/R, PLC-controlled equipment, and industrial facility systems.
· Proven leadership ability to manage, develop, and motivate diverse maintenance and facilities teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Experience planning, scheduling, and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple maintenance teams, contractors, and facility-related work activities.
· Demonstrated capability to train employees, develop technical skill-building programs, and evaluate work performance.
· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret drawings, schematics, operating manuals, technical specifications, and maintenance records.
· Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, waste reduction, and process optimization methodologies.
· Proven project management skills with experience leading capital projects, facility upgrades, equipment installations, and operational improvement initiatives.
· Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills, with the ability to build collaborative and positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
· Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements, with experience promoting a Zero Harm culture and maintaining safe working conditions.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS), including the ability to analyze data, maintain records, and drive measurable operational results.
