About this role

Job Purpose

To manage day-to-day store operations efficiently by ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, documentation, and inventory control of raw materials, packing materials, engineering items, and finished goods in compliance with company procedures and GMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery challans.
  • Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials as per SOPs and GMP requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP systems.
  • Handle issuance of materials to production and other departments as per approved requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate for timely replenishment.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices for material management.
  • Prepare and maintain store-related documentation, registers, and reports.
  • Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and identification of materials.
  • Coordinate with QA, Purchase, Production, and Logistics departments for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to stores and inventory.
