Job Description

The EU Data Compliance Administrator is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the EU Data Compliance Team.

The role supports the delivery of Jaguar Land Rover’s EU Data Act (EUDA) services by processing customer requests, maintaining records, supporting customer communications and ensuring operational activities are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Working closely with EUDA Case Managers, Team Leaders and wider business stakeholders, the EU Data Compliance Advisor plays an important role in ensuring customer and business requests are processed in accordance with operational procedures, regulatory requirements and service level commitments.
  • The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer and operational support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Business Support

  • Support customer onboarding and case administration activities.
  • Assist with customer and business enquiries relating to EUDA services.
  • Manage shared mailboxes and customer communications.
  • Request and process supporting documentation from customers where required.
  • Ensure customer communications are accurate, timely and professional.

Operational Administration

  • Process customer requests and update operational systems and records.
  • Maintain operational databases, trackers and case management tools.
  • Support the administration of business onboarding and verification activities.
  • Ensure all customer and operational records are complete and accurate.
  • Monitor operational queues and escalate issues where appropriate.

VIN & Data Access Administration

  • Support VIN ownership verification activities.
  • Maintain records relating to VIN approvals, rejections and amendments.
  • Assist with data access request administration and tracking.
  • Support business and third-party onboarding activities.
  • Maintain audit trails and supporting evidence.

Compliance & Governance Support

  • Assist in maintaining records of customer requests, approvals and operational activities.
  • Support audit preparation activities and evidence gathering.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures and controls.
  • Identify administrative errors, process gaps or risks and escalate where required.
  • Support the maintenance of operational documentation and procedures.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist with production of operational reports and management information.
  • Support service performance monitoring activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Support implementation of new processes, tools and operational changes.
  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

  • Experience in an administrative, operational support or customer service environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing customer information and records.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow defined processes, procedures and operational controls.
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
  • A collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience within customer operations, administration, case management, compliance or regulated environments would be advantageous.
  • Automotive, fleet, customer service or compliance experience is desirable but not essential.

Additional Information

Location: Whitley, Coventry

Working Model: Hybrid (2 days working from home)

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working Hours (rotational):

  • Week 1: 08:00 - 16:30
  • Week 2: 09:00 - 17:30
