Job Description

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and rate build-ups for Civil, Infrastructure, Structural, O&M and MEP works.
  • Prepare tender pricing, commercial proposals, clarifications, qualifications, exclusions and assumptions.
  • Prepare post-award activities including valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
  • Good knowledge of the Qatar construction market and preferably Ashghal/Qatar contractual practices.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel estimation/QS software such as Candy/CCS or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and commercial skills, with ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
  • Coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadline

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in Construction Estimation / Quantity Surveying, preferably with 5+ years GCC/Qatar experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
