Job/Position Summary

Equipment I/Q Group Leader

Duties include collaboration with suppliers and contractors to complete tool installation and qualification of process equipment and all related facilities components to successfully start up the Odisha HIPSPL factory to specification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Work to troubleshoot and resolve facility equipment and issues.
• Provide Workforce Development plans to enable the inexperienced India workforce
• Perform diagnostic and corrective maintenance on facility support equipment.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers to ensure equipment is installed and qualified on schedule.
• Create preventative maintenance schedules for equipment after it is successfully installed.
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve/maintain tool performance and address issues.
• Ability to write routine reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems employees to ensure equipment is installed in compliance to equipment supplier’s requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in electronics is a plus.
• 5 years’ experience in equipment maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, schematics, drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Self-driven and able to identify/resolve priorities to improve fab performance.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical/mechanical and vacuum systems.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and possess positive interpersonal skills.

• Have a track record of tool installation, new process startup activities, and knowledge of ramp process and equipment needs.

• Plan and conduct experiments to improve equipment processes.
• Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
• Be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and working hours to support business needs.

Physical/Working Requirements

• Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
• Works with hazardous materials, wastewater treatment removal.
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Frequently lift to 25 Ibs.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
