Enterprise Account Executive
About this role
About Foresight
Foresight helps leaders running infrastructure capital programmes move from reactive project delivery to proactive control of risk and outcomes.
We're building AI-driven software that continuously analyses complex schedules and surfaces the signals teams need to make better, faster decisions. Construction is one of the least digitised industries in the world. We're building tools that don't meaningfully exist today, solving problems few teams have attempted at this scale.
Our mission: give every team the clarity and confidence to deliver projects on time, every time. Because in high-stakes construction, the real risk isn't complexity — it's being too late to act.
We recently raised a $25M Series A led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, with participation from Creandum (who led our Seed), isai Build, i2bf Global Ventures, and Somersault Ventures. Revenue has tripled every year since 2023, and we're scaling from 40 to 80 people over the next 12 months.
The Role
Our senior Account Executives run their books like owners: each one is responsible for growing a portfolio of
major-programme clients, and adds dedicated support as that book grows. As a Account Executive, you'll be
the first person on one of those teams — reporting directly to a single senior AE and working as their right hand.
Your first priority is top of funnel. You'll hunt: research target accounts, cold call, write outbound that gets answered,
and turn first conversations into qualified pipeline. We want someone who is persistent and commercially sharp, but
who sells with polish and judgment — the kind of person a senior client is glad to hear from. You'll also help move
deals through the middle of the funnel, including leading meetings yourself when your AE can't be in the room, and
over time you'll grow into carrying and closing revenue of your own.
You'll be backed by Foresight's central Marketing, RevOps and Customer Success teams, so your time goes into
selling rather than delivery work.
What You'll Do
- Build pipeline from scratch. Own outbound prospecting for your AE's book — account research, cold calls,
- email and LinkedIn sequences, and event follow-up — and convert it into qualified first meetings with owners,
- contractors and programme leaders.
- • Hunt with judgment. Be relentless about follow-up while protecting the reputation of every relationship. You
- know when to push and when to hold back.
- • Advance live deals. Run discovery, prepare and deliver tailored materials, map stakeholders and buying
- committees, and keep next steps moving across the mid-funnel.
- • Stand in for your AE. Lead client meetings — on site or remote — when your AE can't attend, and run them to
- the same standard.
- • Extend your AE's capacity. Take on account planning, proposal support, CRM hygiene and forecasting
- inputs, so your AE can spend their time where it counts most.
- • Work with central teams. Partner with Marketing on campaigns and target lists, RevOps on pipeline data, and
- Customer Success on handoffs and expansion opportunities.
- • Grow into a closer. Take on your own opportunities and revenue targets as you ramp, with a clear path to
- running a book of your own.
What We're Looking For
- Revenue experience. You have held a role where you produced revenue directly — quota-carrying, or measured on pipeline or bookings.
- Enterprise deal exposure. You have closed deals above $100K ACV, or worked on a team that did and played a real part in getting them over the line.
- In-person, forward-deployed selling. You've sold face to face — at client sites, in executive meetings, at events — not only from behind a screen.
- A consulting-to-tech-sales path. The ideal background is a few years in management or strategy consulting followed by a move into B2B tech sales. Strong candidates from high-growth enterprise AI companies without a consulting background will also be considered.
- A record of excelling at a high level — academically, athletically or otherwise — and the competitive drive that comes with it.
- Executive presence. You can be direct and persistent with senior stakeholders while keeping the relationship strong.
- Based in the US and willing to travel regularly to client sites and events.
Why Join Now
- Learn from the people who built the book. You'll work every day alongside a senior AE who came up the same consulting-to-sales path, and be part of their team from the start.
- A clear path to your own book. This seat is designed to grow into a full Account Executive role with your own revenue as you prove yourself.
- Real ownership from day one. Your decisions will play out in weeks, not years, and materialize in steel and concrete.
- Work directly with the founders. Close access to experienced, mission-driven leadership who are leading academic voices on why mega-projects fail, and have real-world scars to match.
- The momentum is real. Revenue has tripled every year since 2023, and a $25M Series A gives us the runway to build properly.
Total compensation range: $200,000–$300,000+, based on experience and fit against the requirements above, and equity in a fast-growing, well-funded startup.
Foresight is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diverse teams build better software.
