About this role

Scaling.com is looking for an Enrollment Specialist to join our in-office Enrollment Team in Provo.

This is a structured, high-volume sales role for someone who already knows how to sell, enjoys being on the phone, follows a proven process, and wants to become excellent at the work.

You will spend your days speaking with entrepreneurs and business owners who have already raised their hand to learn more about Scaling.com, The Science of Scaling, and how to grow their business.

This is not a traditional cold-calling role. The people you contact have previously opted in, requested information, downloaded or engaged with our resources, or otherwise indicated an interest in learning more. Your job is to turn that initial interest into a real conversation, understand what they are looking for, and move qualified prospects to the next step.

We are looking for someone who is steady, coachable, persistent, comfortable with repetition, and genuinely good at following a system.

If you have succeeded as an SDR, BDR, appointment setter, enrollment specialist, outbound sales representative, or in another high-volume phone sales environment—and you are looking for a role you can stay in and become very good at—this may be a strong fit.

What You'll Do

Work a High-Volume Outbound Sales Process

    • Make a high volume of outbound calls every day to qualified and warm leads.
    • Contact people who have previously expressed interest in Scaling.com, The Science of Scaling, or related resources.
    • Start conversations quickly and confidently with business owners and entrepreneurs.
    • Follow established call scripts, SOPs, qualification criteria, and follow-up processes.
    • Use good judgment within the structure of the process rather than improvising your own system.
    • Make multiple contact attempts and consistently follow up with leads who have not yet connected.

Qualify and Create Conversations

Your first job is not to force a sale. It is to open the conversation, understand the person, and determine whether there is a legitimate next step.

You will:

  • Confirm why the prospect originally opted in or reached out.
  • Ask questions about their business, goals, and current situation.
  • Understand what they are trying to accomplish and where they want to take the business.
  • Identify whether the prospect is qualified for an Enrollment Assessment.
  • Schedule qualified prospects for the next conversation with the appropriate member of the team.
  • Follow the established qualification process consistently.

Conduct Enrollment Assessments

As you become proficient in the role, you will conduct scheduled Enrollment Assessments with qualified entrepreneurs.

These conversations are structured around:

  • Understanding why they originally engaged with Scaling.com.
  • Connecting their interest back to The Science of Scaling.
  • Understanding their business and current position.
  • Exploring their 10X or "impossible" goal.
  • Understanding what they want to change or accomplish.
  • Getting to the deeper motivation behind why they want to scale now.
  • Determining whether Scaling.com is the right fit.
  • Following the established enrollment process when they are qualified and ready.

You will be expected to follow the script and SOPs throughout the process while still sounding like a real person.

Follow the System

This is a process-driven role.

You will be expected to:

  • Follow call scripts and SOPs accurately.
  • Maintain accurate lead records in the CRM.
  • Record call outcomes and relevant prospect information.
  • Track next steps and follow-up dates.
  • Complete required follow-up consistently.
  • Review your calls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Apply coaching and feedback to your next calls.
  • Follow team standards even when the work becomes repetitive.

The goal is not to reinvent the process.

The goal is to master it.

What We Value

  • Drive. You set ambitious goals and have a track record of pursuing them.
  • Resilience. You can handle rejection, pressure, and setbacks without losing momentum.
  • Coachability. You take feedback without defensiveness and apply it quickly.
  • Professionalism. You can hold a credible conversation with owners of $50M+ companies.
  • Competitive Spirit. You want to win and consistently push yourself to perform at a higher level.
  • Ownership. You take responsibility for your results and do what needs to be done.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measurable.

You will be expected to consistently demonstrate:

Activity

  • High daily outbound call volume.
  • Consistent follow-up activity.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistent completion of required CRM and administrative work.

Execution

  • Following scripts and SOPs accurately.
  • Creating real conversations rather than simply completing call attempts.
  • Asking strong discovery questions.
  • Handling common objections calmly.
  • Accurately qualifying prospects.
  • Booking qualified prospects into Enrollment Assessments.
  • Moving leads through the sales process without dropping follow-up.

Improvement

  • Regularly reviewing your own calls.
  • Accepting direct feedback from your manager.
  • Identifying patterns in your performance.
  • Implementing coaching quickly.
  • Demonstrating measurable improvement over time.

Consistency

  • Showing up every day ready to work.
  • Maintaining performance through repetitive, high-volume work.
  • Staying committed when the job gets difficult.
  • Building reliable habits rather than relying on occasional bursts of motivation.

Who We're Looking For

This role is a strong fit for someone who:

  • Has 1–3 years of experience in an Enrollment Specialist, SDR, BDR, appointment-setting, inside sales, call center sales, or similar role.
  • Has at least 1 year of high-volume outbound sales experience.
  • Has experience taking a prospect through at least part or all of a sales cycle, from initial outreach through a defined next step or close.
  • Has real cold-calling experience and is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone.
  • Has worked successfully in a structured call-center or inside-sales environment.
  • Is comfortable following scripts, SOPs, talk tracks, and established processes.
  • Has experience using a CRM to maintain lead records, document call outcomes, and manage next steps.
  • Is comfortable being measured on activity, conversion, follow-up, and other performance metrics.
  • Has experience receiving call reviews and direct performance feedback.
  • Can listen to a call review, identify what went wrong, and actually change the behavior on the next call.
  • Is highly coachable and comfortable working under a manager.
  • Has demonstrated persistence—whether through achieving difficult goals, maintaining a performance streak, staying committed to a demanding role, or consistently working toward a measurable target.
  • Has strong verbal communication skills and can confidently speak with successful entrepreneurs and business owners.
  • Is comfortable having structured conversations about business growth, goals, challenges, and motivation.
  • Is dependable, consistent, and comfortable doing the work every day.
  • Is looking for a long-term role, not simply a short-term position before moving into management or another department.
  • Wants to become exceptionally good at a defined sales process.

What This Role Is Not

This is probably not the right role for you if:

  • You are primarily looking for rapid promotion or a management track.
  • You dislike repetitive outbound calling.
  • You prefer creating your own sales process rather than following an established one.
  • You do not enjoy working from scripts and SOPs.
  • You resist call reviews or direct coaching.
  • You need constant novelty to stay engaged.
  • You are uncomfortable being measured on your activity and results.
  • You are looking for a remote position.
  • You are planning to stay only until another opportunity comes along.

We are looking for someone who can say:

"Give me the system, give me the training, give me the feedback, and let me get really good at it."

The Environment

This is an in-office position in Pleasant Grove, Utah County.

You will work from our office Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, alongside the Enrollment Team.

Expect:

  • A structured daily schedule.
  • A high volume of outbound calls.
  • A significant amount of time at your workstation and on the phone.
  • Clear activity and performance expectations.
  • Regular call reviews.
  • Direct coaching from your manager.
  • Scripts and SOPs that you are expected to follow.
  • A team environment where consistency and execution matter.

You will not be left to figure everything out on your own. We have a process, and we will train you on it.

What we need from you is the ability to show up, follow the process, take coaching, and execute consistently.

Why Scaling.com

Scaling.com helps entrepreneurs build businesses capable of achieving goals that previously seemed impossible.

You will speak every day with founders and business owners who are actively thinking about the future of their companies.

That means the conversations are meaningful—but the job itself is still a sales job.

You will be expected to make the calls, follow the process, handle objections, document your activity, learn from your mistakes, and improve your numbers.

If you enjoy that environment, there is a lot of opportunity to become very good at what you do.

  • 1–3 years of experience in enrollment, SDR/BDR, appointment setting, inside sales, call-center sales, or a similar role.
  • At least 1 year of high-volume outbound sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience making outbound calls as a core part of your job.
  • Experience following sales scripts, SOPs, or structured sales processes.
  • Experience using a CRM to manage leads, call outcomes, notes, and follow-ups.
  • Experience receiving call reviews, coaching, or performance feedback.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners.
  • Demonstrated persistence and consistency in a professional environment.
  • Must be highly coachable and comfortable reporting to a manager.
  • Must be located in Utah County and able to work in-office in Pleasant Grove Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Must be seeking a long-term position with the Enrollment Team.

The Person We're Looking For

You don't need to be the person who wants to run the sales department someday.

You don't need to be looking for the next promotion.

You don't need to reinvent our process.

We want someone who has already proven they can succeed in a high-volume sales environment and thinks:

"I like sales. I like being on the phone. I like having a clear target. I like getting feedback. I like getting better. Give me a good system and let me execute."

If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.
