We are searching for a talented Endoscopy Technician
Hours: 32 flex 40hrs
Shift: Day shift with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); Variable hours
Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Manager, Patient Care Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties including providing technical services or support. Assist physicians with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including demonstrating clinical skills in an acute patient care environment.Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
- Previous Operating Room experience is preferred. Basic Medical Terminology is required.
- Must be able to understand and be knowledgeable of the principles of sterile technique, sterilization process, etc. Knowledge of fiber optics required.
- Three years and up to five years experience required.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
