About this role

Build next-level systems from the ground up – help us construct radars that protect skies and wildlife.

As our Electronics Mechanic, you build the high-tech core of our radar systems at our premises. You handle complex assembly, precision soldering, and vital component cabling every single day. You work closely with the Production Team, Engineering, and Warehouse colleagues to ensure flawless construction. Reporting to the Head of Production & Planning, your dedication directly impacts how reliably our systems perform.

What you'll do

  • Component assembly and cabling: Build complex and high-tech radar components daily. Perform precision cabling and assemble intricate sub-assemblies following strict technical requirements.

  • Testing and measurement: Use advanced measuring equipment like oscilloscopes and Vector Network Analysers. Provide vital support to the Quality Control Testing crew during system phases.

  • Fault resolution and quality: Address technical faults during the assembly and testing process. Create detailed Quality Alerts aiming at continuous improvement across the production line.

  • Documentation and planning: Create detailed work descriptions and test plans. Base these descriptions on complex electrical diagrams, layouts, and schematics.

What you bring

  • MBO-4 or BA degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.

  • Over 3 years of experience in similar high-tech assembly roles.

  • Practical experience with electronics, mechatronics, and printed circuit boards.

  • Solid understanding of electrical diagrams and complex layouts.

  • Proven experience in precision soldering and sub-assembly construction.

  • Comfortable using measuring equipment like oscilloscopes and Vector Network Analysers.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a highly methodical approach to tasks.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive continuous technical improvements.
