About this role
We are seeking a Electronic Specialist (Manufacturing Maintenance) to join our federal team at our York, PA Grantley Plant location. Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions; replace or repair defective components and control modules.

Shift: 1st shift
Pay: Starting rate of pay is $38.62 per hour
Union: This is a bargaining unit (Union) position.

As a Electronic Specialist, you will:
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, electrical codes, manuals, and work orders
- Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions; replace or repair defective components and control modules
- Reassemble, test, and verify equipment under operating conditions
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Install conduit, pull and terminate wiring, fabricate harnesses, and build control panels
- Wire complex units and install auxiliary controls
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, bending equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and material handling devices safely
Training & Certification Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain the following certifications:
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Arc Flash
- ESD
- Man lift Training
- Forklift Training
Electrical codes
- The following electrical codes must be adhered to:
- NFPA70
- NEC
Various Electrical Systems and Manufacturing Equipment: CNC, Manual machines, Jib/Overhead cranes, Welders, Blast equipment, Paint booths, Weld Roll
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of frequency drives and PLC ladder logic
- Skilled in wiring, conduit installation, and control panel assembly

Preferred Qualifications:
This position is well suited for candidates with the following experience:
- Journeymen Papers
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical/electronic installation and repair in an industrial setting
- Technical certification in electronics or electrical systems preferred
Preferred Education:
- Technical certification in electronics or electrical systems preferred
