Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As an integral part of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout our organization.

• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair electrical switch-gear, distribution networks, and systems
• Install, maintain, and repair various electrical appliances and equipment
• Conduct regular maintenance of lighting fixtures, including replacing bulbs and tubes as needed
• Service and maintain emergency power supply and uninterruptible power supply systems
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain accurate logs and records of electrical systems and completed work
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects and resolve issues
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and guests in work areas
• Participate in energy conservation initiatives and implement efficient electrical solutions

Qualifications

• Valid electrician license or certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in hospitality or similar industries
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Skilled in using various electrical testing equipment and tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality service
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends
