About the role

Reporting to a Maintenance Team Leader, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned, outage and breakdown maintenance activities across a diverse range of electrical plant and equipment. Based onsite at Bayswater Power Station, this role is 4-days a week, Tuesday to Friday.
 
Working within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, you'll apply your technical experience to diagnose faults, troubleshoot equipment issues and support plant reliability, availability and operational performance. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a complex industrial environment where safety, teamwork and continuous improvement are at the centre of everything we do. 

What You Will be Doing 

  • Perform routine, outage and breakdown electrical maintenance on power station plant and equipment. 

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to support plant reliability and availability. 

  • Interpret technical drawings, manuals and documentation. 

  • Conduct risk assessments and safety checks. 

  • Maintain records using SAP and maintenance systems. 

  • Support apprentices through coaching and training. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

About You 

  • Electrical Trade Certificate. 

  • Experience in power generation, heavy industry, manufacturing or similar environment. 

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. 

  • Commitment to safety and environmental compliance. 

  • Ability to work independently and within a team. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP.
