We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Technical Office professional to join our growing engineering team in Cairo, Egypt. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a critical link between design concepts and project execution, ensuring that all electrical systems are meticulously documented, compliant with local and international standards, and optimized for efficiency. You will work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions that drive our organization's success.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive electrical technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software and industry-standard tools
- Analyze electrical designs to ensure compliance with Egyptian electrical codes, international standards (IEC), and project specifications
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and design teams to develop accurate technical documentation and bill of materials
- Review and verify technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards before distribution
- Communicate technical information clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding
- Assist in preparing tender documents, proposals, and technical reports for electrical projects
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure electrical components and materials meet technical specifications and project requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of electrical industry practices, standards, and regulatory requirements in Egypt and internationally
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in an electrical technical office or engineering firm
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent) for electrical design and drafting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and installation practices
- Solid understanding of Egyptian electrical codes and international electrical standards (IEC)
- Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills in English and Arabic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of power systems, renewable energy, or industrial electrical applications
- Certification in relevant electrical standards or compliance frameworks
