Job Description
Act as technical advisor for electrical bop & grid expert scope during developer bid review and RFP/specification preparation. Lead technical due diligence, verify compliance with project/off-taker requirements, identify risks and deviations, prepare clarifications, support technical evaluation, and contribute to contract schedules and negotiation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Professional registration, chartership, or OEM/utility/off-taker experience is preferred
Additional Information
Required Experience
- 12+ years in power plant electrical systems, HV grid connection, protection/control, grid code compliance, owner’s engineer or utility review
Technical Expertise
- Generator, IPB, GSUT/UAT, HV GIS/AIS, MV/LV switchgear, protection and control, metering, auxiliary power, black start/emergency supply, earthing, lightning, grid code, power system studies. IEC 60076, IEC 62271, IEC 61850, IEC 60255, IEC 60909, IEEE/IEC grounding standards, local Grid Code, ETAP/DIgSILENT/PSCAD as applicable
Commercial/Contract Awareness
- Ability to read and comment on IPP/PPA/EPC technical schedules, guarantees, LD-linked performance clauses, interface obligations, acceptance testing requirements, and developer deviations
