Job Description Summary

CDL Class B Driver – Scaffolding Specialist (Local/Home Daily)

Ready to do more than just drive?

We aren’t looking for someone who just wants to sit behind the wheel all day. We are looking for a powerhouse CDL Class B Driver to join our North Charleston Scaffolding team. This is a high-energy, hands-on role where you are the backbone of our job site delivery operations.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Home Every Night: No over-the-road hauls. You stay local and get home to what matters.
  • Active Workday: Skip the gym. This role keeps you moving with heavy labor and equipment operation at every stop.
  • Steady Income: Consistent hours with overtime potential.
  • Career Growth: Join the fastest-growing rental business in North America.

The "Must-Haves":

  • Forklift Expertise is Non-Negotiable: You aren’t just hauling equipment; you are loading and unloading it. You must have solid forklift experience. (If you have Moffett Truck Mounted Forklift experience, you’re already at the top of our list!)
  • Physical Grit: This is a labor-intensive position. You will be in and out of the truck, securing loads, and performing heavy lifting (50+ pounds)
  • CDL Class B License: A clean driving record and the skill to navigate tight construction zones safely.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive & Deliver: Operating flatbed or roll-back trucks through urban and suburban job sites.
  • Load & Unload: Using your forklift skills to manage scaffold supplies and tools efficiently.
  • Client Connection: Being the face of Sunbelt Rentals, ensuring safety and top-tier service at every delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class B CDL and a safe driving record.
  • Required: Professional forklift experience.
  • Strong communication skills (Bi-lingual/Spanish is a major plus).
  • A safety-first mindset and a "get it done" attitude.
