As a Drafter, you will play an important role in translating project vision into clear, accurate construction documents that support successful execution. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, values precision, and can collaborate effectively with design, project, and field teams to keep projects moving from concept through permitting and construction.
Responsibilities
- Revise drafting sets based on designer, client, and field team feedback.
- Create detailed construction drawings for residential remodeling and addition projects.
- Coordinate plans with project managers, estimators, and permitting requirements.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings for buildable designs.
- Maintain accurate drawing files, revisions, and documentation across multiple projects.
- 2+ years of drafting experience in residential remodeling or construction environments.
- Experience producing permit-ready construction drawings for remodeling and addition projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software for residential plans.
- Strong knowledge of residential building codes, construction detailing, and dimensions.
- Experience coordinating revisions with designers, project managers, and field teams.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
