About this role

Summary:


The Citizens' Voice is looking for a District Manager. As a District Manager, you will play a crucial role in working with the circulation team to facilitate the delivery of multiple daily and weekly print products. 

 

The position is 37.5 hours... approximately 1:00 AM to 8:30 AM. Always off on Sunday night/Monday morning. Will work 5 shifts between Tue-Sun. Day off can vary. Must work Holidays (unless it falls on a Monday). 


What you will do:


  • Establishes, reviews, and adjusts route delivery boundaries to maximize service and minimize expenses
  • Monitors and understands the independent contractor agreements
  • Responsible to recruit, orientate and contract Independent Contractors
  • Reviews and holds accountable IC performance results in service to maintain company standards 
  • Oversees/Assists in the distribution of company products to IC
  • Maintains company-established complaint ratio standard
  • Responds to customer complaints to ensure excellent service
  • Delivers open routes as needed
  • Retention- contacts customers who have stopped for service issues in an attempt to get them back
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Travel – This position entails occasional driving for work assignments, training sessions, and/or meetings. The employee will be responsible for transporting themselves between different sites as needed
  • Must be available for shift work. May be required to work various hours for coverage outside of normal business hours
