Distributor Commercial Strategy & Business Intelligence Manager (m/w/d), Professional Hair, EMEA

About our role: 

Base monthly pay: EUR 5,015.00 (E12 K, Chemical Industry Collective Agreement, Hesse, Germany) 

In this position, you will drive Business Intelligence and Commercial Excellence across Distributor markets by transforming data into actionable insights that support growth, profitability, and decision-making.

This is a full-time maternity cover opportunity based in Darmstadt, offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2028.

What you will do:

• Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools to improve visibility and efficiency across Distributor markets.
• Identify growth opportunities, risks, and performance improvement levers through data analysis and business insights.
• Establish reporting standards and performance metrics to monitor sales, profitability, pricing, and Distributor performance.
• Lead the development and implementation of Distributor pricing strategies ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Support Distributor Managers and CS&M team with data-driven recommendations and business planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, data quality, and commercial tools.

What you will need:

• 5 years + Experience in Business Intelligence, Commercial Excellence, Pricing, Revenue Growth Management, or Sales Analytics.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SAP BI and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Proven track record in reporting automation, dashboard development, and integrating data from multiple systems.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into commercial actions.
• Experience in pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and commercial performance management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong influence skills to drive initiatives
