Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as:
Distribution Compliance Officer
Type of Employment: Temporary position for 1 year
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
THE ROLE
We are expanding the Global Fuels Distribution Compliance Team and are looking to hire a Distribution Compliance Officer. This role will focus on standardizing internal processes across our global fuel distribution operations and ensuring consistent compliance practices across regions. The Distribution Compliance Officer will work closely with key stakeholders to improve clarity, consistency, and efficiency in how compliance requirements are applied.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks, preparing data analyses, reports, and supporting evidence;
- Prepare clear data analyses of conducted audits, report findings to stakeholders, and follow up on corrective actions;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent and compliant procedures on regular basis;
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing processes to enhance audit efficiency, effectiveness, and overall outcomes;
- Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to distribution and compliance activities;
- Support and participate in internal projects upon management request.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field;
- Experience in Logistics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field;
- Experience or strong interest in SOP writing, document management and process documentation;
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) to communicate successfully with colleagues abroad;
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with structured documentation;
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in Logistics and Compliance;
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
