About this role

About the Opportunity:

Seekr builds trust into every stage of the AI lifecycle. SeekrGuard is our AI model evaluation and certification solution that helps organizations test, score, and govern AI models for bias, accuracy, reliability, and mission risk through transparent risk scoring, customizable risk profiles, and audit-ready certification. We’re hiring a Director of Product to own SeekrGuard’s product strategy and execution end to end. In this director role, you will set the long-term roadmap and vision, drive prioritization across enterprise and government customers, and lead day-to-day product delivery. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, working directly alongside Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market to ensure SeekrGuard meets the rigorous demands of regulated, high-stakes environments where AI governance is mission-critical.

What You'll Own:

  • Product strategy & roadmap: Define and own SeekrGuard’s multi-year product roadmap and strategy, balancing enterprise and government customer needs with platform scalability and long-term competitive differentiation.
  • End-to-end product execution: Lead discovery, prioritization, and delivery of SeekrGuard features in close partnership with Engineering and Design, from shaping problem spaces through to launch and iteration, operating as the primary product owner across all workstreams.
  • Enterprise & government product expertise: Develop deep understanding of how enterprise and government customers procure, deploy, and govern AI models, translating stakeholder requirements into clear product direction.
  • Customer & market insight: Engage directly with customers, prospects, and partners to surface unmet needs, validate assumptions, and ensure SeekrGuard remains the most trusted AI evaluation and certification solution in the market.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Serve as the connective tissue between Engineering, Design, Sales, and Leadership, earning alignment through the strength of your thinking, communication, and judgment.
  • Metrics & outcomes ownership: Define product success metrics, track performance against business goals, and use data to drive continuous improvement across evaluation, scoring, risk profiling, and certification workflows.
  • Roadmap communication: Present product strategy and progress clearly to stakeholders, team members, customers, and partners, making complex tradeoffs legible.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including prior experience as a director or senior PM with demonstrated leadership scope
  • Proven track record owning end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for an AI/ML platform product, from early-stage definition through scaled delivery
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts (model evaluation and benchmarking, bias and reliability testing, LLMs, RAG, agents, or MLOps) sufficient to set credible technical product direction
  • Experience building products for enterprise customers in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments, including navigating complex procurement cycles, multi-stakeholder requirements, and audit-readiness needs
  • Strong product judgment and ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments without relying on a PM team beneath you
  • Exceptional cross-functional influence: able to align Engineering, Design, Sales, and Leadership through clarity of thinking and quality of communication
  • Demonstrated ability to own and communicate product strategy to executive and customer-facing audiences, including written and verbal fluency in articulating complex tradeoffs
  • Reside in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX; able to work in office on a hybrid schedule

Preferred / Differentiating Qualifications

  • Experience building products for U.S. federal government customers, defense agencies, or intelligence community programs
  • Active security clearance or prior clearance eligibility (strongly preferred)
  • Background in AI governance, model risk management, compliance platforms, or trust and safety tooling
  • Experience designing platform surfaces such as audit trails, risk scoring, certification workflows, or multi-tenant governance systems
  • Familiarity with data visualization, analytics dashboards, or real-time monitoring interfaces relevant to model evaluation
  • Background in high-growth startups or early-stage platform products where you helped establish product practice and culture
