Director of Growth Ventures

About the Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and deeply technical Director of Growth Ventures to partner directly with our Co-Founder on high-impact, zero-to-one marketing initiatives. Unlike traditional growth roles focused on optimizing existing performance channels, this position operates as an "internal startup" dedicated to discovering, prototyping, and scaling entirely new growth loops and innovative distribution strategies.

You will initially join as an individual contributor (IC) with complete end-to-end ownership from strategic hypothesis to hands-on execution. As you validate new channels and scale successful ventures, you will build and lead the dedicated team behind them.

Key Responsibilities

• 0-to-1 Venture Creation: Partner with the Co-Founder to brainstorm, build, and launch high-upside growth initiatives, non-traditional channels, and strategic marketing bets.
• Rapid Prototyping & Execution: Ideate, launch, and iterate on experiments at high velocity, leveraging technical skills and modern growth tooling to build lightweight solutions without waiting for core engineering resources.
• Channel Expansion: Identify untapped market opportunities, novel growth loops, and emerging platforms to diversify our acquisition landscape beyond established performance marketing channels.
• Data & Technical Strategy: Analyze experiment outcomes, build tracking mechanisms, and dive deep into product/marketing analytics to validate unit economics and long-term viability.

Requirements

• Proven Growth Track Record: 5+ years of experience leading growth strategy, innovation, or venture building in fast-paced tech companies or venture-backed startups.
• AI & Technical Mastery: Hands-on experience and deep practical understanding of AI systems, autonomous AI agents, LLM integrations, and modern protocols like MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Deep Technical Fluency: Strong technical literacy (e.g., working knowledge of web frameworks, APIs, automation platforms like Make/Zapier, SQL, or scripting) enabling you to build and deploy solutions without relying on core engineering.
• Founder Mindset: High agency, extreme adaptability, and a relentless bias for action. Comfortable operating with high ambiguity in a fast-moving, startup-like environment.
• Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to combine out-of-the-box creative ideas with rigorous analytical modeling and hypothesis testing.
• Industry Acumen: In-depth understanding of tech growth trends and modern digital distribution strategies.
