This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.
AlphaGov is seeking a Digital Transformation Consultant to lead enterprise operational-excellence and digital-transformation assessment work for a state government client — evaluating current-state operations, technology maturity, and recommending a practical transformation roadmap.
What you'll do:
- Assess enterprise operations and digital maturity across process, technology, and organizational dimensions
- Identify improvement opportunities and prioritize a transformation roadmap with measurable outcomes
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews and working sessions with agency leadership
- Produce client-ready assessment findings, recommendations, and implementation sequencing
- Contribute digital-transformation qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
Required:
- Digital transformation, IT strategy, or enterprise operational-excellence consulting experience
- Public-sector or large-enterprise assessment / roadmap delivery
- Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites
Nice to have:
- State-government enterprise architecture or ERP-adjacent advisory experience
- Lean / Six Sigma / operational-excellence credentials
- Prior Louisiana or Deep South state-agency consulting
